I don't kniow what to call it exactly.

One of the bands I'm in consists of 4 20-something punk rocker dudes. I'm there drummer at age 58. The name of the group is "Dudes of Earl" and my stage name is "OLD DUDE".
Anyway, we take 50s and 60s love songs, a lot of girl group stuff for the most part, start them off kind of like the original and then progressively punk them up as the song goes along. We did it as a one-off kind of thing but public demand (again, mostly punks) causeed us to form permanently and work up more stuff. We're doing that.
We're playing this friday (13th) down at Bug Jar. Also, we're going to record tomorrow night's practice session and use it as a demo CD. I'll try to get songs up soon for y'all.
