I get to do a lot of country drumming. I do OK with it. Very important to keep it steady and predictable for the line dancers though.

Another Country guy here. Modern and high energy though rather than "Old School" stuff.
Like Mikey said ... that four on the floor mid-tempo beat is kind of important. Don't want to see two dozen dancers trip each other up at the same time!
