Caught Jack playing with Bill Kirchen on Saturday down at Village Gate. He does it all and those guys just go from one to the next. Must be nice to play togehter for so long that you don't have to think about the next song. Talked with Jack a little before they played and afterward. He's a really nice guy! Played a three piece custom (small sized) kit along with a Ludwig Accrolite. Sounded fantastic. Y'all gotta catch them next time they're in the area. Great music from three really great guys.

He said he really likes it up here especially in the summer because playing outdoor things down south getr pretty sweaty and sticky. He said the crowds here really know music and appreciate good music, all types. I'm sure he'll be back soon. Maybe another gig at the German hous in the winter.
